Hello Anne, thanks for agreeing to
answer some questions for all of us. This is my scenario - My family is predominately Irish. My great-great-grandmother had immigrated from County Clare, Ireland just before the Potato Famine. In our family history, she was very knowledgeable about all the natural cures and medicines that came from nature, or the fairies she was a little funny about the wee folk. Luckily, she passed this knowledge (in writing) to her daughter and granddaughter. My mother was the youngest of 7 sisters. Her older sisters had the data that had been passed down but over the years it went missing. Many members of the family have a problem with mild neuropathy of the feet. My oldest cousin remembers that his mother had used an old "notebook" to whip up a concoction that worked wonders on the problems that she had with her feet. One part of it was soaking the feet in a hot tub of
water with leaves of rosemary and an "oil" from something else. The next stage involved putting a poultice, using the oil, in a sock then sleeping with it until the feeling returned in the foot. I have the foot problem now and was just wondering if you had ever heard of such a technique. Thanks ever so much. Jerry
