My sister had a bit of a problem when she got off work the other day.

meh..clean out the shop vac and suck em up...

apparently the swarm at our house is doing well in it's new home.

Hey I'm with you I see opportunity there. However my sister used to have and I'm sure she still has a bee/spider dance. I'm sure you've seen it rapidly running inplace slowly rotating elbows tight to her side and wrists flapping wildly, a squeal near the dog only pitch.

so, was that caused by hitting a queen, and getting pheromone on the car?

The swarm eventually left, so I don't know if the queen was killed enroute. The car was parked fo several hours so I'm guessing it was just a convenient place to rest?

That swarm is worth about $100. to bee keeper, the cost of a package of bees.
