Thank you! I went and purchased three books and my wife added one.
My choices:
"Permaculture for the Rest of Us: Abundant Living on Less than an Acre,” by Jenni Blackmore
"Green Wizardry: Conservation, Solar Power, Organic Gardening, And Other Hands-On Skills From the Appropriate Tech Toolkit,” by John Michael Greer
"The Retro Future: Looking to the Past to Reinvent the Future,” by John Michael Greer.
...and my wife grabbed: "A Tiny Home to Call Your Own: Living Well in Just-Right Houses,” by Patricia Foreman.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND: "Gardening When It Counts: Growing Food in Hard Times,” by Steve Solomon. That is the only gardening book I ever read front-to-back, cover-to-cover, with copious highlighting, underlining, asterisking and so on. Mr. Solomon founded Territorial Seeds way back when; he also maintains
Soil and Health Library
About a month ago, I was one of four winners on Permies.com of "Your Edible Yard: Landscaping with Fruits and Vegetables,” by Crystal Stevens, which is also published by NSP. I haven't read it in its entirety yet, save for miscellaneous sections; what I've read, I like very much!
