Just a reminder that diatomaceous earth is used in some pool filters, and many places are clearancing pool supplies this time of year. I just got some ten pound boxes for $2 a piece.

I think there is food grade and other options for DE.  Is the pool stuff good enough to use around (but not necessarily inside) livestock?
