I have several Tayberry plants growing up near my main plants. I want to relocate them nearby. When is a good time for Zone 7B? North Alabama where first frost is in November.
Other people may reject you but if you lie in the forest floor for long enough the moss and fungi will accept you as one of their own!
Most berries are best transplanted when they're dormant. In your area, that probably means December-March. I move raspberry shoots just about any time, though. Most of them survive. Tayberry is pretty vigorous so you probably won't hurt it by going now, and you might give them the advantage of a month or two of root growth before they close up shop for winter.
