The CottageRocket is our take on the Rocket Mass Heater for tiny houses, treehouses, school buses, mobile homes, houses with wooden floors or crawl spaces or basements--any place where a larger thermal mass bench would be a problem, but some thermal mass for overnight heat would be desirable. we get a lot of questions about what they look like on the inside. Hi Chris;   Nice explanation.  Very cool design.
Just what some folks needed for tiny houses that have limited space .

Thank you for the detailed description Chris. Very helpful and informative. I can see making one of these in my future.

William, I'm sorry I missed your question so long ago. The cottagerocket can have a CSA anything from 20 square inches (4.5" x4.5") to about 49 (7"x7")

I like this design a lot. You mention in the video that you're making kits for these. Are the kits available now?

Grant I don't see the kit listed in Uncle Mud's store: https://unclemud.com/store/ but I do recall it mentioned that they have had workshops where a person helps build a cottage rocket that they then take home. Since Uncle Mud is in Ohio that is probably out for someone in Utah, but maybe he will have events this year that are closer?
