As someone who has had them I can recommend a few things in more detail. However I have not tried all of these personally.
-The leaves of BearBerryArctostaphylos uva ursi, or Arbutus uva ursi help reduce the pain of Kidney Stones and prevent UTI's; It is best taken as a tincture.
-CleaversGalium aparine when used in a tincture or juiced (but not boiled) help dissolve kidney stones and clear blockages.
-The root of FennelFoeniculum vulgare and Parsley can be taken as a decoction for UTI's and kidney stones. Queen Ann's laceDaucus carota is another option but must not be taken if pregnant or nursing.
-For less acute kidney stones Golden RodSolidago spp. is an option for preventing stones in the long term. Drink as a tea or eat as salad. Be aware that it is a diuretic and should not be taken if pregnant or nursing.
-Lemon juice helps dissolve certain kinds of stones and cranberry juice can help prevent UTI's and dissolve stones.
Avoid eating foods high in calcium such as spinach and high sodium foods. Avoid licorice.
There is a Canadian microscopist (lab tech) in Canada who is a Chinese Traditional Doctor (I think) with the website sensiblehealth dot com with 3 or 4 ways to address kidney or gall stones. If you have one you probably have the other. I have used her to help my gallbladder, and this also helps the liver, which helps everything.
