Would a raised bed planter made from a galvanized stock tank meet organic requirements?

I'm trying to come up with rot resistant raised bed options for a community garden.  These raised beds would be fairly high for folks with physical limitations or wheelchairs.  One option is to get galvanized stock tanks.

Do any of our organic gardening experts know if that would be considered organic?  Also if there would be any worry about the health of the plants and/or soil in the raised beds?

Thanks!

I am the executive director at Akron Cooperative Farms and we recently had a work team build galvanized roofing (26") raised beds and they will last a long time. We found plans over at Wholefully.com - raised beds. Simple, and a great project for a work team!  Doug

Thanks Doug, those looks cool.  Do you know if it's considered "organic" to have that metal or galvanizing in contact with the soil?
