Traditional Old School Chinese Cook Stove

I used to post here alot years ago. Nice to be back.

 Is anyone familiar with how to build a traditional Chinese wood burning cook stove? I have a pretty good idea of how they work, but I'm not sure how to build one from scratch.

So, I watch a lot of cooking youtube from China. One of the channels I follow (Xia Jie from Shanbei) redid her indoor cookstove and posted video of how she did it.

Fab video. The subtitles gave me a good chuckle, too!

The translations are tragic, to be sure, and great publicity for professional translation....
The good thing with the cooking videos is that after a bit you know more or less what they're going to use, there aren't that many variations. There are a few good English-language cooking channels that can help get up to speed with that.
As for the stove, well, it's just bricks and mud!

She did a brilliant job with those brick and mud!
