I know there's a ton out there if I just search the internet, but I'm hoping someone here has something like an old family recipe, like a recipe from grandma. I really enjoy liver pâté and I have some pork liver from some heritage piggies that lived a wonderful life on a small farm. Anybody out there have a recipe that yields deliciousness?

We do a few in my family.  The daily is "liver pudding"  which is cooked pork liver and rendered lard blended with cornmeal, salt, black and red pepper.  It is sort of like liver mush, but a bit more flavorful.  For holidays, pork liver would be cooked with melted butter, finely chopped onions and green apples, blended very smooth with cream and a bit of brandy, salt, black pepper, ginger and nutmeg.... sometimes some pecans, too.

I agree. Here's the link: http://stoves2.com
