This feels a bit like wishing you guys a Happy Black Friday- but- thanks Carla!

I am scouring the sales, and might pick up something for this spring's planned camping trip. Too bad seed companies don't seem to have Boxing day sales.

So yeah- happy boxing day fellow Canadians! May your purchases be necessary, affordable, and in stock online.

Better yet, may this be a day you can stay home, escape the masses, and finish digesting your Christmas meal of choice :)

Hey, thanks Carla!

Growing up, Boxing Day was spent visiting grandparents and aunts/uncles from one side of the family. As a kid, it was a second Christmas Day. Delicacies, family discussions, another little gift or two, hanging out with cousins, tobogganing down the big hill, and somebody else's toybox to rummage through. A perfect, happy day.

I was never one to chase Boxing Day sales, and long ago they morphed into Boxing Week sales anyway.

yeh, most of the shops were closed and the ones that weren't had huge queues outside.  Even the pharmacy was closed :(

It felt like a holiday here.
