if i attach a 3-sided chicken coop to a greenhouse, which direction should it face? i'm concerned that it would get too hot for the chickens in the summer if the greenhouse side was facing south and that the plants wouldn't get enough sun if it was facing north. any solution?

shadecloth and vents. If it is too hot for chickens it is probably getting too hot for the plants, too.

you just hand the shade cloth on the inside of the greenhouse? tape it up maybe? the greenhouse i'm looking at has 1 vent in the roof and i could leave the door open. thanks!!

most greenhouse guys still have to use shadecloth. Over 110 in there in even michigan summers. Most are putting in swamp coolers too....

would it just be better then to build a free-standing 4-wall coop with windows?
