Hi. I was wondering if there are any plans for this rocket heater? Is this a good way to heat water for underfloor heating? Can you suggest any other ways?

Thank you

A less pretty version of what looks to be the same heater by Jeff Lawton is here:    How to Build a Rocket Stove Mass Water Heater, with Geoff Lawton

I saw this design also. It seems it would have more waste heat than Geoff lawtons design

I would prefer a batch box design as I could put the wood in burn and forget about it but I haven't been able to find a viable design as of yet.

It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. It was a tiny ad.
