We are currently looking for a person, who would like to do a Bundesfreiwilligendienst (BFD) at our forest garden in Verden from the end of May on (a bit earlier or later would also be possible).

The start would be around the end of May (but a bit earlier or later is also possible). Ideally, you should be not older than 27 years. The duration of the volunteering job would be optionally one or one and a half years. A BFD is also possible for people without a German passport. You need to have financial resources in this case, since you can‘t receive additional support by the state and unfortunately, the pocket money paid for the BFD is not enough to make a living. We do think, this regulation is unfair but we can‘t change it.

More information about our project and the volunteer work you can find here: <http://allmende.bplaced.net/wir-suchen-jemand-fur-unsere-bfd-stelle-ab-fruhsommer/>;

Kind regards,

The team of Allmende e.V.

Hi Gary,

thanks for reminding us. 'BFD' is basically a federal volunteers service in Germany. So, volunteers can do usually one year (1,5 years might also be possible) of work at a social, cultural or ecological project, which is registered. They receive pocket money and health insurance is covered for.

Requirements you can find here:

https://bundes-freiwilligendienst.de/volunteering-germany/

Kind regards
