Early spring fruit tree pruning

So I typically prune my trees and black raspberry canes in February on a rare nice enough day to be outside. The problem this year is I fell, broke my leg multiple times and had surgery to repair said breaks. I likely won't be able to walk my property much until end of April or early May. Even then I will be limited. God bless wife who, despite hating my small homestead efforts, has cared for the animals since my accident. I am worried about pruning that late in the season as I am usually seeing some growth by then. I am zone 6b and wondering if I should prune then or just skip a year and heavily prune next late winter.

 I would not worry about your fruit trees.  They can skip a year of pruning without any adverse effects.  I would take out dead canes from your berry patch whenever you feel up to it.
Maybe also any damaged or dead limbs in fruit trees later when your better.
