Looking for like minded folks/community near Olympia

Hi there

I am mid thirties woman living off grid on 40 acres of forestland in Rainier WA. I am Looking to build community and meet other like minded folks in the area. I’m also hoping to start hosting workshops and retreats on my land. If anyone would be interested in running their own retreat or workshop programming I’d love to collaborate. I post a lot about my adventures on Instagram - if you use social media and would like to follow along you can get a feel for me and my land on there. Otherwise drop me a note here if you are interested in connecting. Also looking to hire someone to advise on setting up permaculture gardens on my land. Hi there, my name is Joel. I grew up east of Seattle in the mountains. I worked on a few farms in the snoqualmie valley. Also worked at a nursery and with an arborist, and various landscapers. Also worked in childcare and summer camps. I just built a tiny house on a trailer for myself. I’ve read a lot about permaculture. I worked for a landscaper who took a Pdc course.

So I have some ideas and resources.  There’s some good permaculture nurseries near you too. Burnt ridge nursery or something.  I’m happy to talk or meet up sometime. sorry I don’t have social media, maybe I should get it though.

Hi! I live in nearby Puyallup and my family of 4 is looking to (finally) buy our own land in WA  after developing permie-minded gardens on 2 different landlord’s places since 2009.  I also used to volunteer extensively at the Songaia cohousing garden in the 2011-2012 period, which is where I learned a lot of my permaculture technique through their association with the then-titled SIP  (SnoIsle permaculture network) Anyhow, if you know of any good opportunities for land and a small shack-like abode out your way can you let me know? We are looking all over the area but usually word of mouth seems more effective!
