I've become entranced with Kand's cooking.... outside, with the chickens, cows, dog, etc... sitting down! .... over fire....mountains, countryside, etc. Talk about 'manual' ! And many 'recipes', including lasagna, pizza and their regional cuisine. Talk about from scratch : )

Thank you for this wonderful link, Nancy. Completely engrossing! Reminds me of malting grains for beer or sprouting wheat for bread but takes those processes to a completely new and unexpected place. What a treat to be introduced to a master outdoor chef. So grateful!

P.S. After watching nearly every one of the videos on the Country Life Vlog https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-SrDneiaXGPn_FC2WTVwol6oC55UxGyv , I started looking for a sadj grill to cook the veggies in my garden. Surprisingly, right here in New Mexico small business called Southwest Disk https://www.southwestdisk.com makes a plow-disk style carbon steel pan that works well with the recipes in the Country Life Vlog. The 22” pan weighs about 22 lbs, comes already seasoned, holds the heat over a wood fire and nestles easily in a bed of hot charcoal. I’m really impressed with and highly recommend this disk, discado, or disco as it is known in New Mexico, for the recipes that use the sadj grill. Thanks again Nancy for this wonderful cooking adventure!
