I have rabbits in mobile growouts. I would like to feed them pulled weeds or simple cuttings from the field.

I have buckets for their watering system on the lids of the growouts. This makes it just enough extra work to open up the lid and toss them some forage that I find myself not doing it. Additionally, anything not eaten would get trampled and ends up gross and rotting on the floor.

Obviously, the solution is to have an external rack for holding greens. I'm sure there is a product I could buy, but my laziness is only rivaled by my frugality. I spent a little while looking around my yard and garage and found these saved sofa springs.

A little clean up and it was ready to attach to the back of the growouts.

I was able to make one for each growout.
