Here is my submission for the Plumbing - Sand for Straw Points - Tiny List - Repair a Hose BB.

One of our outdoor hoses leaked at both ends where the hose material connects to the factory-installed fittings
Step 1: check the washer (it was brittle so I replaced it) - the hose still leaks at/in the factory-installed fitting
Step 2: cut off fitting and insert hose barb with male threads
Step 3: attach and tighten hose clamp
Step 4: test - no leaks in hose/fitting connection - the watering wand has a leak in its mechanism so a new one went on the shopping list

The replacement/repair part is a Nylon/ABS Threaded Male Hose Mender Clamp like this one.

To document the completion of the BB, I have provided the following:
   - a before picture of the broken hose - showing the problem
   - an in-progress shot of you repairing the hose
   - an after picture of the newly repaired hose
   - a description of the repair and products used

My brother in law actually found the leak while I was on vacation a few weeks ago.  I must have left the hose on and had a burst in the heat.

I went to Lowes and grabbed a male repair end and put it on.

Hose blew out at the end. Fixed with plastic compression fitting from the lumber store. The metal fittings I can find here are useless, too shallow in the threads, and fail quickly.

Hello!

I repaired a hose. We were repurposing old soaker hoses, and I needed to replace the female end where it connects to a 'Y'. The soaker hose was a 1/2 inch hose so I needed to purchase the appropriately sized female hose end.

Noticed a wet spot on the ground near the hose connection, picked up the hose and it turned into a sprinkler.

Repaired the hose from the local hardware store, with a quick bicycle trip ~ 5 mins.

Hi take a look at the close ups, the hose had a slow leak and cracked more when I picked up the hose, see the attached pictures. Did not get leak pictures since it was a sprinkler and was discovered at bedtime.

I needed to repair my hose.

First I cut the bad section out

I used bronze connectors to splice the two sides of the hose together.

Completed!

I'm so glad I found this BB! I thought I'd have to upcycle or get rid of a leaky garden hose. Thanks, permies!

Finally got off my duff to do it. Here are the results:
