While at Wheaton labs for the Rocket Mass Heater Workshop, I started the rocket water heater for the pre-wash water to be warm. I collected the following pictures:
 - starting materials before fire
  - fire started
  - additional wood added
  - water sample being extracted
  - water sample temperature being measured at 140 degrees F or more

I fired up the shower water heater at the Wheaton Labs 2023 PTJ.

The water has to be running for the temperature gauge to work, so the water was run into a bucket under the shower head.

While at Wheaton Labs for the 2024 SKIP program, I found myself in need of a warm shower. Thanks to Stephen for the wonderful lesson beforehand. This time, I did it all by myself! Really amazing to see the RMHs in action here, and how fast the RMH reaches 140 degrees. I used the RMH at the shower shack, and used the outdoor sink that is connected to sample the temperature.

I realize afterwards and with a few more times, smaller wood will work faster and more efficiently.

I heated water for dishes using the water heater behind the shop at Wheaton Labs. Yes, my thermometer is really measuring the temperature of the pan because the reflectivity of the water is too low to get an accurate reading, but since the pan is being heated by the water the water must be equal or higher temperature. It took a lot more wood than expected.

Required pictures:
  - starting materials before fire
  - fire started
  - additional wood added
  - water sample being extracted
  - water sample temperature being measured at 140 degrees F or more
