i was reading the same thing about hogs on mushrooms feed. also if it's a grey water system you use mushrooms to clean the water you could feed that for chickens.. it's pretty interesting idea

more so because you need so little light for mushrooms/ if you could grow a crap load of mushroom as supplemental feed
