One of the most useful bits of Permaculture we get to do at Wheaton Labs is completing the feedback loop on experiments like this Rocket Water Heater that hadn't been performing very well so I got to take it apart, clean it, and try to make it work better. Stay tuned, multiple videos.

Or even better, join us at the 2021 Rocket Heater Jamboree where we will be building and testing more rocket heater bits including the new UL Listed, EPA approved Liberator Rocket Heater.

The previous version of the Rocket Water Heater at the Wheaton Labs Shower smoked a caked up with creosote so we rebuilt it with a bigger insulated heat riser and chimney. We're going to run it for a days and see if it still burns clean.

Final review from the 2019 event after running the heater for a couple of days and tweaking it a bit more.

Does it get hot enough to make steam?  Just wondering if it could be used as a boiler to steam sterilise stuff.
