SO yep and in a big way.  I was out in the garden today getting into preparation for spring and summer veges and the though occurred to me that I have been really quite productive and have a somewhat elevated mood with respect to getting stuff done around the place.  Of course when the question rises an answer is demanded.

The answer was like a flash out of the blue.  Permies!!  By doing posts and receiving replies, I have a third party meter that what I am doing is good, right, innovative, contributing or what needs more work.  It reinforces that I am actually on the right track.  Apples, likes and pie add further reinforcement.  The best part is that if I have not got it quite right or there is a better method, someone will suggest that there is a better way or that someone else is doing similar so I have a reference/ comparison.

Like others, I have had threads removed and accept that happens, particularly if there is something dumb in it and in retrospect, I have put a couple of dumb things out there.  So be it - I know and understand the rules.  I call it the RAP (Rules According to Paul).  So to have a post removed, I have been RAPed (on the knuckles)

There is the bonus of  being exposed to new concepts such a hugels and food forests.  I had gouged large trenches many years ago to hold water but now, I have started to put wood into the trenches with a view to hugelbeets.  So not only am I retaining water, particularly in summer, when it is hot and dry but increasing the productive area.

Do I Look Like I Give A F***, absolutely.  Just want to use this thread to say thanks heaps to everyone for not only making your place a better bit of the planet but also for helping me make my bit of the planet a better place

Bump
We all have the DILLIGAF experience and it is about time to find out what others experience and what they think about it.
Being out there and building a better world in my own back yard is a way of showing others that there can be and are other ways to view the world.  Participating doing Badge Bits gives me not only more experience, but more tools to build with.  Built the house - TICK!!.  Making it better by doing BBs - definitely.  Actually knowing what I am doing and why by getting involved here - Absolutely

The question turns from why are you doing that to Why aren't you doing that.  You aren't doing it: DILLIGAF but don't bug me while I am🌼🌼🌼🀣πŸ₯‚
Happy 2023
