I just ran 400 feet of welded fencing today.  By using the new fence to connect existing runs of fencing, I ended up with 3 new paddocks. I have been sitting on the sofa with cramps in my hands, calf’s, and thighs. I hurt. But it is a good hurt.

If a little short term pain makes life easier it the long run, it's worth it!

I'm trying to pump myself up and get various fence posts in the ground before it freezes. There is a lot I can do in winter, but not that. I think I need to switch my motivational mode from "internal coach" to "internal drill instructor."

Sounds like a good day! I always hurt somewhere, but seldom does anyone know it. I see it as a part of life, having built houses and worked with my hands all my life I reckon I earned it!

I find that if you can give your body a day of rest in between beatings you tend to get used to a given style of work. But you should also be drinking plenty of water, and protein helps rebuild and grow torn muscles!

Do you pee on your compost? Does this tiny ad?
