So, I'm aware of Ianto's book and have watched several of the videos put out by Permies.com.

For others that have successfully built their rocket mass heater, what books or references (online or otherwise) are mandatory reading for actual first time builders?

Conceptually, I get how these work, but missing the details (perhaps able to be duplicated plans, blueprints, etc.).

Thanks!

Just order the plans from Ernie and Erica. There is a link at the bottom of Paul's rocket mass heater article.

- keep browsing thru these threads, when you find something that interests you look down at the bottom of the screen there is a 'similar threads'/'threads others have visited' !
This will often provide more information in the area you are following ! Allen L.

Paul, in my opinion the best resource is Donkey's forum. Lots of knowledgeable folks sharing solid info.

http://www.richsoil.com/rocket-stove-mass-heater.jsp I believe is the article, lots of great videos and info as well as the plans. It's where I got my start in my research.
