I'm brand new to growing mushrooms. At this point I am just lining up supplies but haven't purchased them yet.
Where do you purchase spawn bags?
I don't want 1000 bags. I want a 0.2 micron filter on a 8 x 5 x 18 bag. I've looked at suppliers online and am not finding what I want. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

If you live in North America, you might want to check out Field & Forest mushrooms in Wisconsin. They carry spawn bags in batches of ten:

https://www.fieldforest.net/category/grow-and-spawn-bags

They also have a toll-free hotline where you can order and get advice on all your projects:

1 800 792-6220

They are very helpful and their spawn is the highest quality- I have an extremely high success rate with them. Good luck!

PS: In case you live outside the United States, they still send growing supplies to select other countries, just not spawn.

I’ve ordered from about six companies so far, including them.  NorthSpore is another company that impressed me with their prices and after sale support.

As mentioned above, I get my spawn from Field & Forest.

As I said I’ve ordered from about six fungi based companies so far.  I’ve had no problems with any of their products this far, but beware!

Check the shipping costs and compare prices with shipping included. I found shipping costs to be vary greatly, from reasonable to outrageous.  One company was charging me more to ship a single bag of spawn then the spawn cost.

My only dislike of spawn from Field and Forest is probably personal taste.  Their grain spawn was on the larger wheat versus the smaller millet and rye other companies use.

Thanks tiny ad, for helping me escape the terrible comfort of this chair.
