Tyler! I am so excited (hence the exclamation point lol) to find that it is you that will be leading up the SA P In P meetup group. This post made the connection for me, even though I did receive the email notices from you as the new group organizer. I haven't even posted an introduction here on permies yet, but I have been reading an digesting tons of info and following Paul's pod cast on stitcher radio.

It is just imperative for a variety of reason that I develop contacts in my area/region and was just so glad to figure out that one of them would be you, since I have followed and appreciated your postings here at permies. Not much time as usual to write as much as I would like at the moment, but wanted to thank you again and for stepping up to the plate for central Texas permies and wannabe permies. I hope to get to some of the meetups before the end of the year, but will have much more time after that for gatherings and workshops.

So it wouldn't let me sign up/ join your meetup group.

Well shucks, I didn't know it required a photo. I wish I knew how to help.

I'll post as much of the meetup information as possible in this thread, so you might be able to get to some of the meetups.

NOTICE: a personal photo is no longer required to join SA Permaculture Meetup.

Please let me know if you have any trouble joining and I'll try to figure it out. I am very slow and not very web-savvy. :p

Hello South Texas Permies!
I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Melody Rose Baker. I am in the running to become the Children's Program Specialist at the SA Botanical Garden! I was just looking around to see what, if any, kind of permie population there is in San Antonio. I took the 2010 Permaculture Design Course with Dick Pierce through the Austin Permaculture Guild. Is there anything like that going on in San Antonio? If I get hired at the SABG (cross your fingers for me!!), I would love to get to know some fellow permies in the area. (I am currently in Kerrville forking for the Folk Festival)
Thanks!

Hello Melody! I don't know if there are any permaculture courses being offered in San Antonio. So far I have only met one San Antonio permaculturist in person! I live outside the city, near Sisterdale.
