Hi Pals,  I  wanted to do worm farming to feed my chickens and make compost.  I  was wondering if anyone could recommend a kit to get started,  I  was going to get uncle Jim's worm cafe, but I saw that it might be backordered?  Does any of ya'll do worm farming?

The principle of the all is the same, 2 chambers, [ one with a tap] a blanket and medium for the worms.
And a lid.
Just get any.

My suggestion would be to check out what kind of worms that are furnished with the kit as I have read some kits come with invasive worms.

Or you could make your own kit:

Get a book:
The Worm Book: The Complete Guide to Gardening and Composting with Worms by Loren Nancarrow, Janet Hogan

Plastic tub with lid.

Some sort of medium-like soil.

Go to the local fishing supply store and get red wigglers or other suitable worms.
