Thought it might be interesting to volunteer for a couple days on a project during our next out west trip.  Any suggestions?

I asked Mr. Google who suggested:

Greening the Desert Project

If you are going to be in Texas you might check this one out:

Bamberger Ranch

Bamberger is an inspiration to me. Learning about his ranch in TX was what inspired me to try to do the same here in AZ. We hope to start a project started in northern AZ soon. The area we are looking at, I'm told was once the western end of the Great Plains.

L Burton, welcome to the forum.

The secret to Bamberger's success is lots of water so look for land where water is plentiful and dig lots of wells as Bamberger did.
