This isn't the sort of place where anyone will say questions are foolish! But it you want to find answers quicker, there's a search box at the top of the page which will show what questions have already been discussed.

Welding is  not normally a permaculture thing but...
There are a few of us here at Permies who are welders.  I happen to be one.
