Hello!

After a bruising year-long search across the country, my family is under contract for a beautiful 40 acre homestead about an hour into the mountains from CS/CC. We're at 9000 feet in pristine pine and juniper, with a heck of a well and good intentions!

I'd love to hear from anyone else in this region/altitude, and would love to collaborate if there are permies in the area!

All the best,
Evan

Hi. I am a very newbie permie, and about 2 hours or less from you. I’d be happy to connect and share notes, ideas or resources with you as we go!

Congrats on your land purchase!

Hi Evan,

I just moved into the Co.Springs area. Did you settle on a property near by? How is it going? I'd love to connect and possibly collaborate/contribute.

Emily

Hi there! Fifth generation Coloradan, moved to the Wet Mountains 5 years ago (1.5 hours from the Springs). We have a homestead at 9,400 ft, greenhouse and chickens, and more dreams on the way...

Hello, I should be in the region in a couple years.  Trying to make my money and do it in style.  Beulah looks lush, water and keeping lower in elevation on the front range is top of mind.  Can't wait to get out there to do some soil building, and also I'm a doomsday guy so there's that.   Ian

Actually, I'll be traveling up to visit friends in Castle Rock on the 25th, if anyone in the Walsenburg or Pueblo area would like to meet and shoot the breeze I'd appreciate it.   Just send me a message through my profile to share numbers.  Thanks
