Hello,

I’m Patrick. A 51yo male looking to escape the rat race and set up a new homestead on my newly acquired 40 acres of Northern Nevada land. While I will be off grid I am not super far from the town of Winnemucca, but far enough to be peaceful.

I have the knowledge and experience to make this self sufficient living dream a reality. What’s missing is a partner to compliment my skill set and take on this journey to peace and serenity. I am a retired Paramedic with an eclectic set of self supporting skills.

I chose this area after serious searching and locating an area that meets my needs for privacy, fun activities, self sufficiency and sustainability.

I am looking for a female that shares the desire to be free and self sufficient and still wants to have fun in life. I want a PARTNER in this journey. Someone who can contribute mentally as well as physically.

I would love to chat, get to know each other and then take the first steps to a new world.

I will be heading to the property in the next few months from Atlanta GA. Your current location isn’t a factor, just the willingness to face the world on our terms.

Hi Patrick,

I happened to wander onto this forum and your post because I am eager to quit the ‘rat race’ life I have created for myself.  I grew up camping and gardening in a very practical, hardworking family.  I am currently a 38 yo public school teacher, but am looking for a change.  I love peace and the outdoors and am interested in being in touch with this part of the world on a daily basis.  I am a very practical, hardworking person, and a quick learner, but also an artist at heart — I spend a lot of time writing and playing the piano when I am able.  I’d be interested to chat and see if we are a good fit.  I’m looking for someone to share and build my life with.

Rachelle
