Dr. Darren Schmidt is my doctor. He has a fairly popular YouTube channel. I see him for Crohn’s disease. He has a video with a patient of one of his colleagues who had cancer and got in remission with supplements and a limited keto diet.
Dr. Eric Berg has two interviews on YouTube with people who followed the Scot protocol, which was developed by a cancer patient(Guy Tenenbaum…might have spelt that wrong) and is currently being studied. I believe Dr. Berg has a service set up for consultations. He is also involved with the research into this protocol if I’m not mistaken. This protocol is also ketogenic and quite strict.
I don’t want to get off topic, because you did simply ask for a doctor to consult, but I would do many hours of breathing techniques—which seems to be what one of these guys that Dr. Berg interviewed did. I don’t believe that is part of the protocol though. Fred had to follow a different diet due to intestinal blockage from stage 3(almost 4) colon cancer. He just ate ribeyes and drank vegetable juice. He has a book too.
I second Heather’s recommendation to look into Gabor Mate. I just finished his new book and it was very fascinating.
Here is Dr. Schmidt
If you look in the video description of Dr. Berg’s videos you’ll see links to things like Guy’s book on the protocol, Fred’s book, a scientific paper, and contact info
