I have two Cane Corso females that are very near their due dates. Our full Corso male sired both girls. I'd like to let you know about each mama:

Litter 1: mama is full Cane Corso, we've had her since day one, since we were there for her birth. She was the pick of the litter, and we have her mother's registration papers. She has a wonderful mix of calm temperament from her mother, but very athletic from her father. She is big boned, so all her pups will grow to be large dogs. She's got a beautiful look, and I know you'll fall in love with these little ones!

Litter 2: mama is a mix between a Serbian Corso and a presa canario/Boreobel cross. She's a 3rd generation band dog, and we got her from a breed from Savant K9 band dogs, Khan was her daddy: https://www.savantk9.com/savants-khan
(Note: this is where our Mama's DADDY came from, we bought his pup from another breeder.)

These are both first time litters, so we're very excited to see what we'll get.

We've worked on the homestead with Cane Corsos for a few years now, and they are MUCH more than just  mastiff guard dogs. They are historically known to be working cow catching dogs, and are very intelligent. Our sire we've personally worked with cattle to catch and round up calves, and guard one from other cattle.
Litter 2 mama mix was bred for hog catching and with her long legs she is a great runner. Higher energy.

These are NOT livestock guardian dogs, so they won't take care of your chickens, but they will make EXCELLENT herd/ watch/working dogs for protection of man and beast.

I will post pictures as soon as our first litter is born! Follow this thread if you might be interested in one!

This will be interesting to see! I have never heard of this breed before, I guess because I was always a city girl, and knew no farmers whatsoever. It's so exciting that livestock guardian breeds are making somewhat of a comeback!

A Cane Corso is a member of the Mastiff family.
Generally black in color with all the qualities that the Gentle giants are known for!
A laid-back monster of a doggy!

I don't know anything about the OP, but I know SavantK9. An amazing breeder with really impressive dog knowledge. He has turned out some amazing dogs.

There sure have! We were impressed with their dogs a while back, so when they reported that they had a new litter (double breeding with the dam bring an outside source), with two of their top dogs, we had to get one. They really believe in the principle of healthy genetics, and breed for skills, not just to keep a "breed." We flew our pup all the way from DC to us because we trust that we're getting a great working dog. And she has been great. Can't wait to see what her litter will bring! Let us know if you might be interested๐Ÿ˜‰. Will post pictures when they come!

UPDATE: OUR LITTER 2 MAMA MIX IS HERE! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

They arrived yesterday, after the tornado threat for the DFW area. It seems a lot of births tend to come around weather listen changes, just my observation.

It was an exhausting day, but I will post pictures shortly! They are beautiful. Mama is doing great and whelped them very strong and easily. We are very proud of her.

You may get better response if you post pictures of the parents.  And it's "bandog"     It's a very old term that simply means a large, aggressive watchdog that was kept chained during the day and let loose to protect the property at night.

Update: today is day 3 for the pups, and we are starting our early neurological stimulation program for them. The ENP is believed to impact the neurological system by kicking it into action earlier than would be normally expected, the result being an increased capacity that later will help to make the difference in its performance.

We've been so busy this week, that I haven't had the time for some glamour shots of the pups, but I have some just from sitting with them with my phone camera. They are precious! I also have a couple of our sire, Vader. He's a proven sire, and had fathered several success litters. He's working with us on protection and livestock catch. This dog acts more like a cat then a dog at times: he's jumped large hay bales, lands nimbly on his feet, and even attempted to climb trees.

Our dam, Mookah is sharp and fast. She has also become a terrific mother. She is the most dedicated mother to her pups I have ever seen. She also gave us one of the easiest, quickest, and cleanest births I have ever experienced.
Everyone's healthy and warm.

We have 7 (5 females, 2 males). They are all unique and are already starting to show some personality. Will continue to post pictures and updates on individual pups as we go. Things just need to slow down a bit! But I guess that's near impossible on a homestead, right? ๐Ÿ˜„

Puppies 6 weeks today! Sending their updates and find out if anyone's interested in taking these high quality, beautiful puppies to their forever homes. They have undergone early neurological stimulation training, and am currently working on the Stonnie Dennis puppy developmental training program.

They've already had their round of shots and deworm, and they are just about ready to go to their homes. They are eating a raw diet, and already have sharp, fun loving personalities. Their pictures are below.

If you're interested, please send me a message in my inbox with your contact information and we'll get you set up. Anyone outside of the DFW area, we can talk shipment if you're interested.

Info on the parents: just wanted to mention who their parents are, so you can understand the genetics:

Our dam is a Cane Corso cross with Boreobel, Presa Canario. Her father is one of savant k9's second generation bandogs, Khan, and a beautiful sable Serbian Corso. She has Khans long legs, and high prey drive. She can run all day long, and is proving to be one of the fastest dogs we have encountered. She will catch her prey quickly, and will not allow herself to be the underdog in her pack. She is a great mother, great desire to please, affectionate, and has the incredible potential that her father shows off being a bull lurcher- hog hunting dog. Any one of her pups shares that same potential.

Our sire is full breed Cane Corso, that shows the same abilities as the original Italian Corso we read about in research. Beautiful body composition, which we believe helps him gain the advantage of being more agile than the regular Cane corsos out there. The original Cane corsos move more like cats than dogs, and this guy does the same. There's nothing that he hasn't tried. From climbing trees, to large hay bales, he will attempt to scale just about anything, and successfully do it. Tons of confidence, and highly intelligent, we have used him to bait, guard, and round up calves and cattle. But by far, his favorite thing is to go running with us, and protect our property. This dog has shown us unmatched agility, good recall, and great potential as a multi - faceted use canine for your family, and I can say all of that confidently with our years of experience with him. Every single one of his puppies already have those strong genetics, and have great potential to be some of the best dogs you could ever own, I really mean that.

My husband, who was a former person trainer, has never had a dog that has shown so much athletic promise as this male dog right here. I can say with pride that he is the best mastiff we have owned, and are very proud to be selling his puppies- because we know you are going to have the best experience with his genetics.

These are going to be incredible, intelligent, healthy dogs that are great for protection, defense training, hog hunting, cattle round up, and other work on the homestead. They also make a great addition to the family as home protection, and when properly socialized, great pets, too.

Please let us know who your favorite is!
