What is the going rate for SW Ohio flat farmland that’s been worked? We have 7 acres the previous owners leased.

If we lease it out, what are some of the questions to ask and is there a standard contract for this kind of thing?

Thanks!

Helen, I am sorry that I cannot offer an answer to you questions.

My suggestion would be to talk to the local County Extension Agent and/or local bankers as these folks might have some information

Have you thought to ask the previous owner?

Here are some threads that might interest you or others:

The USDA tracks those rates in your area so you can find out from them.

I get $550 per year for 115 acres leased farmland here in Maine
