That's Dancing

This thread was the inspiration for me to watch the Thin Man on TCM for New Year's Eve.

Before the movie came on was another movie called That's Dancing!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/That%27s_Dancing!

Next to music, I love dancing so I usually watch all movies about dancing.

Here are some of the highlights from the movie:

I saw this in the paper today and did a double take:

Black Sabbath: the Ballet

It's an odd combination.....

I always loved the 1930’s and 1940’s and always wanted to learn how to dance the Salsa or Linde Hop, but my girlfriend said she is too jealous to let any instructor dance with me to show me, so that is out. Kind of sad because it was on my bucket list.

Myself I think it would be good for couples to do as it gets you so close… intimate but with clothing still on.

Probably if you wanted to pay for private lessons the teacher would accommodate your wish to have your girlfriend be your partner.

I think I have only seen the Linde Hop in movies.

That is true, they might teach like that.

Yeah I’m an odd duck as I like the 1930’s and such. At one time my house was set up just like the 1930,s but now I am up a decade. I just bought a Victorian home built in 1940.

But on a good rainy Saturday, I might watch the African Queen or some other movie like that.
