Semi-Dormant Permie Seeking Mental Stimulation and Possible Companionship

I dabble in Edible Landscaping a few times a week, and I also try to date local, but I have yet to find someone truly passionate and proactive about homesteading in my local dating pool. I'm obsessed with permaculture (have been since I was 18) and have enough self-knowledge to know that I wouldn't be happy with someone who isn't fully committed to a sustainable, earth-involved life like I am.

If I weren't bound by my motherly-providing duties, I'd quit (or dramatically reduce) my job as a tattoo artist to do permaculture full-time. As for now, I'd like to involve myself mentally with a keen permaculture aficionado or aficionada. So I'm open to talking to someone and getting to know them.

Howdy Ms. Lee, unless you are into men old enough to be your granddad, then I am not your man. But, as a fellow north Texan, I wanted to let you know that I thought about you several times this past weekend. I attended the Mother Earth News Fair down at the Belton County Expo Center and I wondered if you were there? Or if you even knew about it?
It was a wonderful gathering full of homesteading classes, products and books. This was my first time to attend and I learned a number of new things. Apparently they have been doing this every year for the past few years. I think you would like it, if you haven't been. They even had some classes and activities for the kids too.
I don't currently consider myself a homesteader or a permie but, I am a country boy with lots of country wisdom and talents. My short term goal is to divorce the grid and start reducing my footprint. Long term I want to work on improving my health, naturally and by reaping the benefits of being a better steward of the land.
I wish you well in your endeavors.

Hello Chai, I am in central Bc, Canada. But I wanted to say hello anyway. And say I wish you well. You seem awesome - stay choosey.
