Hi all permie folk,
Been lurking for a few years, bought a place outside of Gulgong, Australia last year after permaculturing in the Blue Mountains for the last 25years. Pretty much a blank canvas here, 138 acres of which 80 is regrowth and the other 50 is on its way šŸ˜. Weā€™ve started with vege gardens and chooks, French Marins Wheatens plus 1/2 dozen mongrels, Iā€™ve got beehives some of which are still in the Blue Mountains but will be here soon.

Are there any permaculture groups locally ? Local knowledge is the key to a good start I think.

Glad youā€™re here and posting! Youā€™ll always have a community here on Permies, I donā€™t know of any fellow permists around us either but having this community has made all the difference. How long have you been working with permaculture?

Hi Chris,
Been permaculturing about 20 years, mainly on suburban blocks, this is the biggest project Iā€™ve ever started and will outlast my lifetime( hopefully). Will try to post progress posts ,lol, yes thankfully sites like this exist, sharing our trial and errors reduces how many we make.
Thanks for reaching out ChrisšŸ‘
