Can I edit old threads to conform to the new Permies site.

I was hoping to make some adjustments to older threads and remove the embeded coding that no longer functions. I get messages periodically on some of my older threads so I would like to polish it a bit.

The software doesn't have the ability to allow something like that. The best we can do is have you pass your changes on to the moderator of that forum.

FYI I tried to use google drive for the image hosting and was careful enough to log out of my google account for the preview before posting.  The preview displayed the images.  But then, no images in the actual post.  sob.

If I try to go to the photo's url, I get an error about permissions.  You could try changing the permissions, or upload the pictures somewhere else.

If the edit button has already disappeared, report the post to us and we can put it on probation (which will send you a snotty PM, just ignore it...) and the edit button will come back which you fiddle with the links.
