I didn't know where to post this.  There was no link in the NEST topic.  I searched and the forum I posted in looked to be the closest.  I was not making a political statement, just telling a story about my house.

Even Wikipedia calls it The War of Northern Agression (Wiki.  I'm in TN; it's what's it's commonly known as here.  But I will change it to something more generic. *heavy sigh*

The thing is, we almost never use almost-a-post.  Posts like that usually vanish quietly for not meeting publishing standards.  Someone on staff thought your post was so amazing it would be worth giving you a chance to edit it to meet publishing standards.  Well done!  You are 1 in 100.

War is political - politics belong in the cider press.

Your post doesn't need the mention of the war and makes a stronger impact without it.  It's not directly relevant to your main topic and encourages people to run off on a tangent and derail the thread.  

If you don't want to edit it, I'm sure the post will quietly vanish in the next little while.
