I'm a strong, independent logger and I don't need to cut no wedge!

Jordan,

I've been looking all over for a custom Stihl blade and chain that would do angle cuts like the one in your photo.  Can you find that combo on Amazon.com?....

....  :-)

If it worked for a machinegun, why not a chainsaw?

Our homestead logger learned from his previous mistakes, and decided there's a time and place to call in the big guns...

Now this one I think was deliberate.  All good Ford-NH owners know that after washing and waxing and the final rinse, it is recommended that you drip-dry the unit......

Perhaps not in the same vein and unfortunate either way whether accidental or random malfunction, but it's not everyday you see one of those very large 4WD tractors catch fire..... Seems all were safe (no ambulances).  I saw the black smoke billowing close by after letting a repairman out the gate at the entry to our driveway.  I suppose a silver lining is it wasn't a combine in the middle of a dry, tinder-box corn field....the tractor was cultivating the corn stubble and the damp mud prevented any appreciable spread of the fire even with a steady wind.

After learning the tractor didn't work, our homestead logger considered perhaps the answer is to use multiple chainsaws...
