I'm looking for someone who wants to homestead.
I want to learn what I don't know. Tired of the rat race and what's force fed to us as "socially acceptable" . In a nutshell, I'm not like them and I don't want to live like them. What they deem "acceptable",  I find detestable and repulsive in many ways. Mostly how they treat others... and others who don't think like them and choose to live alternatively or more naturally or as we were intended to live to begin with. We aren't robots and weren't intended to live robot lives. We aren't cookie cutter people, we are all unique in our own way and it takes something different for some of us to bloom into who we were intended to be. That's me. I need more than what society has to offer because seeing the state of the world (and feeling it within me) makes me angry but also just mostly very, very sad.
I need to be somewhere I feel I can bloom. In safety. And in good company. And with love.

I have been working on a plan for a nonprofit/business for years that came to me in a time of distress. I'm not going to detail it all right here but it's a multifaceted and multilayered business plan that also includes a joint nonprofit to provide for the community with space that's not being used. I would like to see it come into fruition because it's homestead style and can be self sufficient and self run by the inhabitants for workshare. I think it's something that could bring benefits (happiness, peace, fulfillment) to people who take part in it. Also security in order to replicate the idea throughout the United States and possibly worldwide. A homestead farm resort and campground type deal. This is something that can be done with about $10k or under including the property cost. And can be accomplished by workshare to get everything set up and running. Or with a lot of hard work and elbow grease. I don't mind getting dirty, I was raised on an 80acre farm. And everything made will be made naturally by what's already on the land. The startup cost would be fully returned within the first couple of months, if not sooner.  It is a multi faceted high income producer that will in turn be poured back into the nonprofit to provide food, shelter and skills for those in need. And the money also used to replicate the program in other states. To give an idea, approximately $200k possible monthly I estimate the program to produce,  on the lower end. So this would be a full time adventure to replicate mini homestead resorts in different places. And build our own, with the right person. Otherwise, we could be business partners to create financial freedom to live the lives we have always dreamed of. And in turn, help others to do the same. I cannot think of any business model more rewarding than that. Other than saving animals too, which is also another aspect of my plan.
There will be several streams of income from the homestead resort.
This would probably take a month or two of grueling work to get everything set up. Maybe less. Depending on how many people we could get to be involved and come along for the journey.
I have the ideas and plans all mapped out. I have some necessary skills in order to bring it to fruition. I need a strong man and someone who has money to acquire the property I found. It's $6k down. It doesn't have to be a strong man with money πŸ˜†, but I will need a strong man and money. If you've read this far, if you're a woman with money then you can help. Anyone reading who is interested in making this happen, contact me:) I have been planning this for years and I would just like to make it happen somehow. Let's manifest it!

I'm going to add a couple photos to this post. I made my Mad Hatter costume (hat, jacket, neck bow, tutu, nails) for $13 with very limited resources (& no sewing machine/hand stitch only) and I was *so* proud of it, so I'll add it here, too. ☺️

My birthday is Friday and I'll probably be in a tent β›Ί.
I will check responses and message when I can.
Happy homesteading. Hope each person reading this finds everything that they're looking for.

Hello Ashley, happy early birthday. This is  Floyd. You did a great job on your hat and costume. I would like to learn more about your thoughts and visions. What part of Texas are you in and where do you hope to make your dream come true?

Hey there Floyd Thanks for the early birthday wishes and comments on my costume. I appreciate it πŸ™
I'm currently in Lumberton Texas. I don't have a set location, but I'm from the South and not very cold tolerant. Prices on land are cheaper in the West and Midwest than in the South, as far as I've found, anyways. I'd prefer somewhere with good soil that's not that rocky because gardening isn't very fun to me with rocks, I've learned. πŸ˜†
But I would enjoy somewhere near mountains but on flat land near water. I've also learned from experience in the Midwest that I don't like chiggers but they like me. And those are not very fun, either. Lol
I appreciate your response. I've been doing a lot of research today on here and on other sites about homesteading subjects and feel like I've learned a lot in a short period of time. It's 11:14pm here, so I'm going to call it a night. I get up pretty early. Look forward to your response. Or feel free to drop me a purple moosage
Night..
-Ash

What part of Texas are you located in? I can easily relocate to the Houston area if you're still looking

Hello, I'm curious about what all you mentioned, as it relates with what I had plans for as well. I'm currently purchasing 13 acres in sw Oklahoma of undeveloped land, and had plans of a possible healing center, int community,  and other various ideas. I honestly wasn't sure what to do, but knew it wasn't the "America dream", as sold to us since birth. For the last few years I've just been letting it sit, while waiting for others of like mind to come along and put our heads together to start building it out into whatever we decide to dream up. If this peeks your interest, then hmu. Btw, I dig that your a fellow tent dweller, as that seems rarer these days.

I hope you had a wonderful tent birthday. I'm looking in TX too but unfortunately I'm not currently really a man with money. I'm looking for a new or established intentional community or something of the like to join ASAP and start a new, free chapter in my life. If you find or develop something in TX, feel free to let me know any details about it, or about any TX or nearby prospects in general.

I hope you find what you're looking for, you seem like an interesting and beautiful person. Feel free to contact me about anything in general, I don't know anybody here and I'm leaving a dark/abusive chapter in my life behind and it seems we're both on similar paths in TX. Thank you!

If your up for a West Texas ordeal.  I have 30 acres of land that I am slowly working on myself and my neighbor has her 13 acre tract up for sell that Hopefully a like minded person would buy and if they happen to be someone to become a good partner or friend would be a better deal.  I just know going about things alone is a slow process and I myself am trying to work less at my Jailer job and want to do more on my own property.  My dream one day is to have built up the sustainability up here and have my draw become a flowing stream again.  If interested for more information  everjams@aol.com or everjams@gmail.com are my emails.
