Hey fellow permies!

It's been a while since I've hosted a project thread with my current going-ons, in fact I believe my last one was nearly a decade ago in regards to a family parcel near Cheyenne that has long since sold, that property has some impressively sized hugels resting on it that are slowly maturing into something I hope is rather beautiful and well used by current inhabitants.

As for my current project, I wouldn't mind somewhere convenient to store some memories for future me, and permies is a great place for stuff like that!

About the current project: approx 10 acres situated atop a sandy hill in a rural community in central wyoming, near Casper. This is my property that we are currently buying. The property was previously occupioed by someone that had more horses than sense, an unfortunately common affliction in this part of the world. So this project will involve restoring land that was eaten down to absolutely nothing on about 1/2 of the property, designing water, access and structure to the land, and creating a working 10 acre silvopasture that supplies product for a profitable business. The current home is a tin can on a hilltop(read mobile home exposed to all the winds) but the plan is to begin building my not-quite-wofati home in the next 5 years or so.

Right now, I am 2 years in on a 1 year clean up and in the designing phase of the project.

While I am on the computer, I'll share a few pics to start the thread off right

and a quick key for the house images:
Black outline for the frame, not including roof design because it is google earth
Lines to and from:
Yellow - electric in
Blue - Water in, from well to east and an auxillary line to gravity feed from tank uphill
Grey - greywater out
black - blackwater out
red shading with black outline is current leach field
pink shading is proposed leach field in future

That is indeed the timeline of any of my permaculture projects!

I'm excited to see how this project evolves, thank you for sharing. :)

While I'm sitting here on my phone I figured I'd upload a concept sketch I made another time I was stuck on my phone showing the tree plantings in the future

Trouble with this file is it was done in gallery app on my phone so deleting components was a PITA, therefore it is way too busy and somewhat complicated
