A little while later she ate enough to feed a Labrador.
We weren't really in a position to have a dog just yet, since we haven't bought land. I checked yesterday and she had a spot to get out of the sun and had food and water. I will keep an eye on the situation, to make sure that it doesn't happen again.
There are stray kids all over this part of the city. I sometimes buy a little extra when i go to the fried chicken place , but i will not give them money, since they immediately go into 7-eleven and turn it into sugar. Animal welfare is definitely not a top of mind thing for most people or the government . There's nobody to call about these things.
There are NGOs in the Philippines like PAWS for animal welfare. However, not all stray dogs are lucky to be saved. Somehow, being discriminated as "Dog breeds" is a symbol of status in the society or is something to brag about in the country.
Though there are some groups in FB who loves to adopt like ASPIN Lovers Philippines.
