This video was filmed in Hawaii and is based on the Korean Natural Farming techniques, so they use a lot of the terms - IMO (Indigenous Micro Organisms), FPJ (Fermented Plant Juice), LAB (Lacto Bacillus), etc.

So this is a slightly different approach to chickens than I see on the permaculture sites as far as the stationary coop is concerned. The feeding part has some interesting bits, especially the part about feeding chicks. I found that part where she says the chickens can get 30% of their food from their droppings that get fermented in the straw and IMO. Most of the other feed info is mostly applicable to Hawaii or other tropical zones though. Well worth watching!

I looked at those threads and it doesn't seem like there's any information pertaining to what I posted. I would have thought that they're would be more interest in this sort of stuff.
