Looking for green house ideas on the cheap

If I were building a greenhouse I would find a lot of used windows cheap.

Then build a basic frame to insert the windows.

My greenhouse was built on the cheap.  I dreamed of using old windows, but in my area they are very hard to come by, and quite expensive when I did find them.   We did buy 2x4s, they were pretty inexpensive. You could use pallet wood. I was very lucky my nephew was remodeling and gave me three sets of sliding glass doors, they worked great ( especially since he gave them to me after we built the frame intending to use greenhouse plastic.) these might be easier to come by then cool old windows. Also you may find old glass shower doors.
Good luck, have fun with it and think outside the box.
