About five years ago we were selling our house and moving to the country. There was an interior door that had come off the bottom hinge because the holes in the door had stripped out and the screws had nothing to do. I found some suggestions somewhere to squirt in glue and shove golf tees into the holes and then we could screw the hinge back on. It sorta-kinda worked. But I just unearthed this bag of 200 (minus 3-4 from that project) wooden tees. I don't have anything in mind as a project, but I'm sure as soon as I drop them off at Goodwill, I'll think of something. I don't want to give in to my inner packrat and store just everything -- so I'm trying to figure out what I might want them for at some point.

So, my Permies crew, what have you done with golf tees? Or what might you do if you had a bag of them? (Playing golf is not an option -- I'm looking for permie/homesteader/crafty repurposing uses.)

Your title reminded me of the Cracker Barrel Game:

Here is another one:

If I had a bag of golf tees I would glue them to a small beach ball or kick ball to explain bacteria and botchlolsum to my canning class students.

But I am kind of a nerd...

And apparently a nerd who can't spell.

Botulism not... Botcho whatever...
