Hi all, as has been with most of the country we have been having 95-100F days... they suck!
Fires are springing up and smoke is in the air throughout Montana.

Yesterday, we had a high temperature of 74F with a breeze!  WHOO HOO, and even better this morning it is 47F!!!
These are the kinds of temps I like!
Wearing a long-sleeved shirt in late July is almost unheard of!
Today it is supposed to make it to 79F and then just barely break 80 until next Wednesday!
Humidity is running 30-40%!
Sadly by next weekend, it is due back in the middle 90s.

Currently, they are calling for it to be hot during the Missoula County Fair from the 6th through the 11th.
Be sure to stop by the fair and meet Paul, Uncle Mud, and myself.

Sorry to hear of the forest fires, I hope you are out of harm's way.

Here in the central area of Virginia we have had some nice rain, but mostly showers and T-storms.  The lawns have greened up again, folks are mowing.  I can hear several going as I type.

It had cooled down to 70 F at 4 am, when I got up, with about 70 % humidity. another bad hair(s) day!!!

Peace

You should come visit me thomas! Predicted high of 59F tomorrow, very light breeze and sunshine - should be perfect for picking my raspberries (about 8 kg so far and only just getting into their stride). The last few days have been a bit showery, with a nice rainbow this afternoon.

I miss the old days when I would think up a sinister scheme for world domination and you would show a little emotional support. So just look at this tiny ad:
