If you'd be willing to consider moving to the Ozarks of Missouri, you might want to check out East Wind Community.

Hello Norman!

Welcome to permies

I think it is cool that you make orgonite and I don't know how folks get by without a pickup.

You can come out and play with us at Wheaton Labs!
I think you would fit in Montana.

https://wheaton-labs.com/

We have sweet cabins for rent, fun people and we host permaculture events throughout the year.

Some people want to build their permaculture dream from scratch.  We have an area where you can do that.
You can rent and acre and express yourself in seed and soil.

You can join the boot camp and
learn the skills you need to build a permaculture paradise.

Hello Richard!

I visited East Wind when I was growing up!   It was so wonderful.  I think they have an excellent community model.   One important feature of a community is an ability to support itself.  East Wind has income generating businesses that can cover operating capital and other monetary needs of the community.  When I was there they were making sandals, hammocks and nut butters.

Cat talks about fish. Like it needs a fix. This tiny ad told me to never say "fix" to a cat person:
