1. ABOUT THIS STOVE.
-The Chuncana stove is a development by Edgardo Gailhou, from Nono, Province of Cordoba, Argentina. Edgardo chose to publish this design for free on the Internet.
Through "Fogosa Calefacción" he has advised a large number of people who have successfully replicated his stove.
-This plan is a review of this design, in search of giving it some characteristics to improve it, including:
--Add one more row of height to the door of the firebox: Before there were 2, now there are 3.
--Add a lintel to the door, which is below the roof of the firebox, with this the possibilities of smoke coming out through the door are reduced.
--Lay the bricks of the roof of the firebox on edge. Before they were lying down. It is now more resistant.
--Improve the locking on the sides. Although there are now fewer rows that do not lock compared to the original design, this is still a difficulty to reconcile.
--Add an ashtray box and an ashtray grill. In the first designs it did not have them. The pieces for the ironworks were added in the same set of plans.
--Make a roof of the stove with masonry pieces and eliminate the causes of cracks due to thermal expansion.
